I’ve been in the financial sector for quite some time…10 years to be exact. In College, I majored in Economics, and I was one of the few economists who actually enjoyed what I did. I worked on and off as a consultant for some major corporations, and eventually decided that not only could I help big corporations make money, but I could also help the average person make some money.
After witnessing first hand the problems that accompanied the recession (my neighbor lost his house), I realized that most people don’t have a clue how to control their finances. These days, people rack up insane amounts of debt on their credit cards… they buy stuff they don’t need, and end up having to declare bankruptcy. Personally, I can’t say I have perfect control over my finances, but I’ve been able to make enough to live comfortably for the rest of my life (and I’ll never have to work for anyone else again).
So, in lieu of wanting to help people, I decided to provide my ex-neighbor with free consulting…the very same consulting that I give to corporations. I helped him get back on his feet and pay off over $30,000 in debt.
One day we were sitting down having a beer, when he told me that I should start up a website and help other people gain financial freedom… and that’s how this website came to be. Hopefully the information here will serve to help you become financially independent, and debt free.
